2025 APA PS+CD Online Conference
The APA Public Schools + Communities Division (PS+CD) is hosting its inaugural online conference that will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025.
The goal of the conference is to highlight the amazing work happening in school planning around the country, exchange ideas, and to gain valuable insights into current trends, challenges, and innovations in the field. Registration will open in August.
CALL FOR SESSIONS – PROPOSALS DUE JULY 18
The PS+CD conference committee is soliciting session proposals and presenters. The conference is organized into three tracks:
- Schools + Communities (i.e., local govt and school collaboration, land use and schools, transportation, educational workforce housing and governance issues)
- School Facility Trends (i.e., school design/siting, school closures/mergers, joint use of school facilities, schools & climate change)
- School Planning + Policies (i.e., shifting enrollments, impact of school choice, and emerging technologies)
